There are so many pictures, this might be a little challenging. But you have been very patient (for that matter, so have we as this project has been delayed for over a month). I am going to try this morning to find some representative before and after shots now that we are almost there.
An update on where we are first...the floors need to be stained and a few minor punch list items need to be completed. I suspect the four days of rain in the forecast will delay the floors further. I'm not sure why, but it tends to happen. Something about humidity. That's the excuse anyway.
View from front door after the vaulting began and when complete. The walnut floor stain will warm this large space up even more. That's next.
There were no befores of the stairs, since it was just a closet in the hallway back then. Now - all we need is a railing and some poly.
Three levels, a bad mantel, painted paneling and WALLS has transformed to a wide open family area. The hickory cabinets are the bozTEAM homage to the fir paneling of the past. And look how much the massive header allowed us to open up the sunroom!
Hard to show a before of something that wasn't there. The shower, complete with light show, foot massager and a PHONE sits right over that small window in the before pic. The good news - it's modular. So if you ever decide to move the master downstairs, the shower can come with you.Sorry, no before of the master tub. It moved from downstairs to up. One of my all time favorite recycling projects!
More later! Hope you enjoyed the preview.
